Tir na nÓg’s Kheimon

aka Miss Flake

Tir na nÓg’s Kheimon, aka Miss Flake is one of what we called our 2 P’s litter: the only 2 puppies from the breeding of our Princess (Dragongarden’s Justify my Love CGC) and Perrin (GCHG CH Lowenhole’s Magical Phalin Perrin THDN CGC ATD). She was born after driving through the one “snow storm” that year (such as we get in Western Washington these days), hence the nicknames Flurry and Flake, or Miss Princess’s 2 peas. We couldn’t bear to break them up so we kept them and they’ve been two peas in a pod ever since. The names stuck.

Miss Flake is in charge, but is a bit more reserved than her sister. She wants to do whatever daddy’s doing at the moment, especially if it includes her sister. Although she’d rather be on a hike in the woods with her people and her sister, she gracefully accepts the love she gets in crowded ferries and farmers’ markets. She loves that she gets to be office dog on the days mom works from home and would do anything for her boys.

Although not officially a champion, Miss Flake won three majors, including Best of Opposite in her first showing at the NorCal Leonberger Club 2023 specialty. Unfortunately, due to issues with finalizing her AKC registration (mom’s foreign pedigree and AKC registration was held up during Covid and took some time to correct), she was unable to keep her points and does not get to keep the points she would have earned that weekend.
